How to Add a Jetpack Contact Form in WordPress

There are a number of great plugins that will help you add a contact form to your WordPress site, but one of the options that I often use is the contact form that is available through the Jetpack plugin. The Jetpack plugin provides a lot of different features for your WordPress site, among which is a contact form builder.

Our tutorial below will show you how to enable the contact form option in the WordPress plugin, then how to add a contact form to a post or page in your WordPress site.

How to Insert a Jetpack Contact Form Into a WordPress Post

The steps below will assume that you have already installed the Jetpack plugin and connected it to a WordPress account. If not, then you must do so before continuing. This guide will show you how to install a plugin. Just be sure to install the plugin called “Jetpack.”

Step 1: Sign into the admin section of your WordPress site, then hover over the Jetpack item in the left column and click Settings.

open the Jetpack settings menu

Step 2: Click the Writing tab at the top of the window.

click the Writing tab

Step 3: Click the button to the right of Contact Form to turn it on.

Step 4: Create a new post, or open an existing post or page to which you would like to add a contact form.

Step 5: Click the Add Contact Form button above the editing section.

click the Add Contact Form button

Step 6: Customize the fields in the form as needed. If you would like to send replies to a different email address, or with a specific subject, then click the Email notifications link at the top of the window.

Step 7: Make any changes to the email notifications settings, then click the Save button.

You can then save your contact form and insert it into the post or page.

Learn about scheduling posts in WordPress if you have written a post, but don’t want it to go live on your site until a specific date or time.
