Now that you have WordPress installed on your website, it’s time to start configuring all of the settings to fit your needs.
One of the first places to go is the General Settings menu. This menu includes options such as the email address where you receive notifications, then name of the site, the tagline of the site, as well as many more options.
Step 1: Hover over Settings in the left-column, then click the General option.
Step 2: Change any of the settings on this page, then click the blue Save Settings button at the bottom of the screen.
Be careful not to modify the WordPress address or Site Address unless you specifically know that you want to do so. Changing those settings when you shouldn’t can result in an unusable website.
