How to Show More Posts Per Page in the Admin Section of WordPress

As your blog grows over time, you will inevitably wind up with a large number of posts. If you only post once per week, after two years you will have over 100 posts. If you go back to edit something, or simply want to see some of your older posts, then this can involve clicking through several pages.

One way to make browsing through old posts a little easier is to change the number of posts displayed on the All Posts menu in WordPress. Our tutorial below will show you where to locate this option so that you can define the number of posts you would like to include on each page of this menu.

How to Change the Number of Posts Shown on the All Posts Menu in WordPress

The steps in this article were performed on the 5.1.1 version of WordPress, but are similar in most earlier versions of WordPress as well.

Step 1: Sign into the admin section of your site at (yourdomain.com)/wp-admin.

Step 2: Hover over the Posts tab at the left side of the window, then choose the All Posts option.

Step 3: Click the Screen Options button at the top-right of the window.

Step 4: Click inside the Number of items per page field, enter the desired number of posts per page, then click the Apply button.
